In the end, this is what matters…

Is it just ME, or do you, too remember the news story about the “real life Barbie doll”?  Hmmmm…

I was mesmerized!  How?  Why?  A ‘real-life Barbie doll’…?

Well, there is a real life woman who has undergone 59 plastic surgery procedures hoping to find acceptance of her own looks.  I am left wondering how many different surgeons she may have used…

I recently saw this story online, perhaps you have, too.  In the end, this seemingly simple little farm girl-like persona has been diagnosed with the chronic and painful condition known as fibromyalgia; she suffers every day.

Her medication has caused her to gain a significant amount of weight, so much so that her “After and AFTER THE AFTER” pictures hardly resemble each other.

I am speaking of Jenny Lee, and she seems to be as sweet as her name sounds.  She is the mother of 2 daughters.  Her older daughter doesn’t plan to follow in the footsteps of her Mom when it comes to plastic surgery; her younger one is still quite young.

Mom says her daughter needs no physical adjustments to her looks; good for you Mom.  I imagine Jenny Lee’s Mom may have felt the same; at least I hope she did.

The power low self-esteem can assume in one’s life is well illustrated in this story.  In the end, this woman who said good-bye to her own child over and over again for fear of not surviving another procedure as she searched for more physical beauty, now realizes health, not beauty, is the more important thing.

I actually think Jenny Lee is more beautiful now than when she did the TV circuit as “Real Life Barbie” and I hope she feels the same way about herself and I am sorry she is in pain; this time for another reason.

Watch, below, as Jenny Lee shares some “Real Life Jenny Lee” moments with Oprah…

So, IS it just me, or do you, too, feel Jenny Lee truly is a beautiful woman for sharing her new perspective on what matters most…

Here’s to your health
